Export textile products are no longer reduced quarantine fees

Recently, the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine forwarded the “Notice of the Ministry of Finance and the National Development and Reform Commission on the Relevant Issues Concerning the Reduction or Exemption of Entry and Exit Inspection and Quarantine Fees for Exports of Agricultural Products.” The Circular requires that export textile and apparel products be subject to immigration inspection at 70% of the current charging standards. The quarantine fee policy was implemented until June 30, and at the same time it agreed to continue the entry-exit inspection and quarantine fees for export agricultural products that are listed in the Catalogue of Import and Export Commodities Subject to Inspection and Quarantine by Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Institutions. It is reported that in accordance with the spirit of the relevant documents, Xiamen Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has reduced the entry and exit inspection and quarantine fees for some textile and apparel products since 2009, which has played an important role in helping enterprises survive the international financial crisis and maintain stable growth in foreign trade. According to statistics, the bureau accumulatively reduced the import and export of textile and clothing products for inspection and quarantine by enterprises by 4 million yuan. In the first half of this year, the amount of relief was 1.93 million yuan, involving more than 30,000 batches of goods.
