In late March 2010, before the highly anticipated Beijing China International Fashion Week kicked off, Sanlitun VILLAGE partnered with 40 global fashion brands to present the "Fashion V" Spring-Summer 2010 collection. The event took place in the North District, offering a glimpse into the season's latest trends and showcasing the iconic sky bridges that connect the area. The show featured four distinct themes that captured the essence of spring and summer 2010: modern city life, where avant-garde fashion meets urban energy; romantic getaways, celebrating sunny holidays and the charm of springtime; elegant workplaces, offering tips on how to shine in professional settings; and glamorous evening wear, turning every night into a magical moment.
This edition of the V-Sports show continued the “V Sperm†theme, blending the bold styles from the southern part of Sanlitun VILLAGE with the refined elegance of the North District. Compared to the previous V event in autumn 2009, this one attracted even more international attention, especially from high-profile brands like LIU.JO, CHRISS DELLA MODA, ELDI, and PYE, who brought classic sophistication to the runway. FREY WILLE, ROLEX, and Longchamp added a touch of luxury with their accessories, watches, and leather goods, lighting up the spring night.
Renowned stylist Lao Hei and celebrated fashion photographer Ma Siliang collaborated to create a stylish guide for the "V-Summer 2010 Spring and Summer Fashion Handbook." Models not only showcased the collections but also demonstrated creative outfit combinations, inspiring attendees to experiment with their own looks.
