Demand in Europe is severely shrinking The future of textile exports is not optimistic

As the European debt crisis continues to ferment, the demand in European countries has shrunk dramatically, and the medium-term outlook for the future of the textile industry is not optimistic.

The data shows that the EU, the United States, and Japan are the major export countries and regions of China's textile and apparel. However, in September, China’s exports of textile raw materials and textile products to these three countries and regions were US$4.185 billion, US$3.554 billion, and US$2.996 billion, respectively, and the year-on-year growth rates were 5.38%, 5%, and 25.71% respectively.

Exports to Japan began to recover (year-on-year growth rate of -2.03% in 2010); however, the growth rate of exports to the European Union and the United States fell sharply. In the same period of 2010, the growth rates in Europe and America were 28.95% and 28.66% respectively, of which the decline in the EU was particularly significant. .

In the first half of 2011, the quality and technical level of industrial textile products have improved, and international competitiveness has increased. The growth trend of industries from quantitative changes to qualitative changes is gradually clear.
