As one of the key industrial projects in Urumqi, the 400,000 pieces of cashmere sweater processing project of Ordos Cashmere Group has undergone nearly three years of construction. The first phase of the project has now completed trial production.
“Now we have two workshops, namely the hair washing workshop and the carding workshop. The hair washing workshop has an entire set of hair washing equipment, which is basically enough, and the combing workshop now has 136 sets of combing equipment. It has been running for 10 days. Now we have finished the production of 1 ton of dehaired cashmere products.†Qi Fuchun, general director of the Urumqi Ordos Cashmere Products Co., Ltd., told reporters.
