First, compact spinning principle

Compact spinning is a new type of spinning technology for spinning on improved new ring spinning machines. The main spinning mechanism is: a fiber aggregation zone is added in front of the traction device of the ring spinning frame, and the spinning twisting triangle zone between the front roller and the twist point is basically eliminated. After the fiber sliver is exported from the front roller, it passes through the special suction pipe jacket mesh apron and the slivers move on the mesh apron. Due to the contraction and polymerization of the air stream, the slivers are gathered through the suction trough of the special pipe. Turning and gradually changing from flat strip to cylindrical body, the ends of the fibers are all broken into the yarn, so the yarn formation is very tight, the yarn appearance is smooth and the hairiness is small. Compact spinning yarns have higher strength and less hairiness. In the weaving process, the phenomenon of sanding is least likely to occur.

The purpose of compact spinning is to make the fibers as parallel and close as possible before the yarn is twisted. This is an important criterion for high-quality compact spinning yarns. Making the fibers as parallel and consistent as possible is a prerequisite for their predecessors.


Second, the advantages and disadvantages of compact spinning

(A) Advantages:

1. Due to the fact that the single fibers in the sliver are fully stretched, parallel to each other, and tightly arranged prior to twisting, they are added at the jaws of the corona roller (also called the choke roller because it has the effect of preventing the transmission of twist). It becomes very small, so it basically eliminates the "twisting triangle". Since the single fiber before the twisting is fully straight and parallel, no hairiness sticks out from the main body of the sliver, so there are very few yarn slivers, especially hairy feathers more than 3 mm. less.

2. In the spun yarn, since the individual fibers are twisted in a straight and parallel state, when the single yarn is subjected to a pulling force, the forces of the individual fibers are basically the same, so the compact spinning strength is higher than that of the conventional single yarn. And because the single fibers in compact yarns are tightly arranged and cohesive with each other, this also helps to increase the strength of the yarn.

3. In the compact spinning process, the sliver is aggregated after the drafting process has been completed, so the index of unevenness of the strip is not greatly improved, but there is a finishing effect on the sliver in the gathering area, and There is no strong traditional process for the transfer of the inner and outer layers of the fiber when twisted at the twisted jaw roller, so the compact yarn does not evenly dry, and the coarse and detailed index is better than the traditional yarn.

4. Due to the above characteristics of compact yarns, very good conditions are provided for the next process, and the hairiness of compact yarns is reduced, so the pressures of sizing, singeing and other processes are reduced, and the use of compact yarns for the weft yarns of shuttleless looms is greatly reduced. Weft resistance increases the efficiency of the loom.

5. Because compact yarns are arranged closely and have a small diameter compared to conventional yarns of the same number, the fabrics that are woven with the same warp and weft have good air permeability and are flat and smooth, making them ideal for high-end textiles.

(B) Disadvantages:

1. The high cost of compact spinning equipment has increased the equipment investment in spinning mills.

2. In addition to the great improvement in the hairiness index, other indicators of the yarn, such as dryness, coarseness, and details, have not improved much.
