On December 15, 2010, the China National Textile and Apparel Council organized a conference in Beijing to evaluate the credit ratings of the second batch of enterprises within the textile and apparel industry. During the event, Xu Kunyuan, Vice President of the China Textile Industry Association, announced the "Decision on Issuing the First Credit Evaluation Results of the Textile Industry." As a result, 36 companies, including Zhejiang Shuangdeng Home Textiles Co., Ltd., were awarded the prestigious "AAA" credit rating, marking them as recognized credit enterprises.
The association expressed its hope that these companies would continue to strengthen their internal credit management, build a strong brand of integrity, and serve as role models for the broader industry. It also encouraged all members and departments to actively support enterprise credit initiatives, promote positive goodwill across the sector, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the textile industry's credit system.
According to the briefing, the China Textile Industry Association Credit Office followed established guidelines such as the "Corporate Credit Rating Management Measures" and the "Overall Plan for the Evaluation of Corporate Credit Ratings." The evaluation process was based on objective, transparent, and fair principles, with input from experts and public review. After preliminary assessments, expert evaluations, and final approvals from the Ministry of Commerce and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the companies were officially recognized as AAA-rated enterprises.
The second batch of rated companies demonstrated characteristics similar to those of the first batch, showing broad representation across the industry. These enterprises included large and medium-sized firms, private businesses, and companies operating under different ownership structures. Many of them also represented diverse business models. Common traits among these companies included a strong focus on internal credit systems, corporate governance, social responsibility, innovation, product quality, and brand development. Their financial performance was robust, with solid solvency, profitability, and growth potential.
Moreover, these enterprises showed high engagement in industry activities and fulfilled their membership responsibilities diligently. Many have become leaders in the sector. The evaluation process was thorough, comprehensive, and scientifically grounded, reflecting the true creditworthiness of the companies involved.
Moving forward, the China National Textile and Apparel Council plans to make corporate credit evaluation a regular task. It will continue to refine the evaluation process, accept new applications annually, and release results twice a year. This initiative aims to drive the extensive and deep development of credit construction within the textile industry, encouraging widespread participation and collaboration. Companies in the sector have shown strong interest, and together, they are working towards building a stronger, more trustworthy textile industry.
