Summary of Export of Industrial Textiles in the First Half of 2010 - 1

The industrial textiles analyzed in this section include five varieties: light box cloth, canopy cloth, conveyor belt, geogrid, and fiberglass cloth. Data sources and National Bureau of Statistics and General Administration of Customs. Due to the stabilization of the European and American economy and the lower export base during the same period of last year, the export value of industrial textiles in China from January to June 2010 reached 2.602 billion U.S. dollars, a year-on-year increase of 52.34%, and the average export price was 2.43. The U.S. dollar rose 8% year-on-year. On the whole, it showed a good momentum of volume and price.

January-February 2010, industrial textile exports peaked after the start of rapid decline, this decline is due mainly to the Chinese New Year, January and February is the traditional off-season, from February to June began a rapid recovery.

Lightbox cloth outlet analysis

Lightbox cloth is the largest exporter of industrial textiles with a proportion of 72.49% . From January to June in 2010 , the export volume of China's light box cloth reached 1.872 billion U.S. dollars , a large increase from the same period last year , reaching 52.72 % , and the average export price was 3.02 U.S. dollars , an increase of 13.18 % over the same period of last year , showing a trend of volume and price rising .

2010 January-February, exports banner after peaking began falling rapidly, this decline is due mainly to the Chinese New Year, January and February is the traditional off-season, from February to June began a rapid recovery.

Banner export prices reached a peak in January 2010, bottoming out in February, March-June prices remain stable.

    The export price of industrial textiles reached a trough in March 2010 , peaked in April , and declined in May-June .
