The Nike x Rostarr series draws inspiration from running group culture and marathon, combining the legendary stroke patterns of Rostarr with Nike running shoes and running apparel. Rostarr and Nike designers have joined forces to create this pre-impulsive series, just like creating on a blank canvas.
Rostarr believes, "This collaboration attempts to separate the energy that you excite when you run with a large group of runners. I try to capture the rhythm and dynamics of people running in the game and show that raging energy."
In order to create the exclusive pattern of the series, Rostarr used his signature strokes to design a pattern that expresses the abstract runner. The final design looks like a big wave of runners are crossing the finish line.
