154 pieces of returning cultural relics unveiled at the museum collectors

National Treasures are the crystallization of Chinese culture. Every piece of national treasures has a twisting and moving story behind it, a chapter inscribed in history. The national treasures and cultural relics that have flown overseas have experienced the vicissitudes of life and suffering, and are more mysterious and legendary.

At the "Returned Cultural Relics Exhibition" held at the Ruian Museum a few days ago, looking at the 154 beautiful reflow artifacts, the collector Wang Liang talked about the story behind the "returned cultural relics".

Returning cultural relics throughout Europe and the United States as far as the Western Jin Dynasty

The quaint and long-lasting Western Jin Dynasty three-footed porcelain oil lamp, the magnificent and colorful Qing Dynasty cloisonne three-dimensional first-legged copper stove, the magnificent and magnificent Republic of China through the golden wood flower board...

Porcelain, calligraphy and painting, jade, wood carving and other cultural relics show exquisite quaint style. The 154 pieces of relics exhibited at the Ruian Museum recently were Zheng Bin, Jin Jianxin and Wang Liang from the Friendship Association of Ruian City Museum. which provided.

There is a blue-and-white porcelain exhibition area in the Overseas Return Cultural Relics Exhibition. Among them, the “Qingdai Qinghua Bogu Porcelain Straight Bottle” is particularly eye-catching, and this bottle takes the meaning of “the world is unified”. The bottle mouth is decorated with banana leaf pattern, and the brushwork is concise. It forms a echo with the white space on the shoulder. It looks like random, but it is very ingenious.

Its owner, Wang Liang, introduced that the bottle was bought from the auction when he first went to France.

The museum of Ryan City introduced: the returned cultural relics from Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Sweden, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, the United States and Italy, including the Western Jin Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty, the Qing Dynasty, the Republic of China and so on. The exhibition time is from the first day of the first month to the fifteenth day of the first month. This is the first time that Ruian City has hosted an overseas returning cultural relic exhibition.

According to statistics, as of the beginning of the first month of the first month, more than 9,000 people have come to appreciate the exhibition.

"Return" is difficult to buy real antiques is difficult to transport back to the country is not easy

Born in 1973, Ruian Wang Liang, who originally operated a shoe factory with hundreds of workers, was enthusiastic about the heritage collection industry. In 2010, he sold the factory to Europe and the United States, and traveled through large and small auctions and various flea markets. By now, he is already a well-known cultural relic merchant in the area. Speaking of the experience of retreating cultural relics in these years, Wang Liang was quite emotional.

Wang Liang said that he went to Europe at least four or five times a year, and returned an average of three or four hundred cultural relics per year, including porcelain. In the first year or two, he also looked at the eyes and bought a lot of fakes. Fortunately, he was a friend of the family. Under the guidance of himself, he gradually became an expert.

The most troublesome thing for Wang Liang and other folk collectors is the customs declaration of returning cultural relics. Since customs inspects goods and collects taxes and fees, it is necessary to verify the invoices and other procedures, and a large part of the cultural relics from overseas are from flea markets and private collections. Home, unable to provide relevant procedures, entry is not easy.

Wang Liang gave an example. In 2013, he bought more than 10 pieces of porcelain artifacts from Sweden, which could be stopped by the customs of a certain city in China. Because he could not provide the invoices and other procedures, he could not return the goods and could only return to Sweden. He said: "I was and A director of the Customs said that you do not think these are cultural relics. If it is a cultural relic, then it is a good thing for me to bring overseas cultural relics back. If you return them to an accident, then you are committing a crime; It’s not a cultural relic. These things are not worth a few dollars. I didn’t have any influence when I took it in. Later, the director of the customs asked me to pay a few hundred yuan in taxes and fees, and let the things go.” After that, Wang Liang passed the foreign trade company. Taking the "commodity import" procedure and other methods, it gradually solved the problem of cultural relics entry.

Expert reminder

Foreign regular auction houses also take fakes in the antiques industry. There is a saying in the world that "experts are not as good as businessmen". Under the tempering of actual combat, Wang Liang summed up a unique "Taobao" experience:

1. The moon of a foreign country is not necessarily rounder than that of China. There are also many fakes in regular European auction houses;

2. Do not be superstitious about all kinds of "Certificate of Cultural Relics" and "Jianbao Program";

3. If you want to engage in this business, you should always keep abreast of the latest "fake dynamics". Wang Liang said that he often visits Jingdezhen. There are many masters there. They have a high level of imitation of ancient porcelain, although the masters themselves have not made fake sales. However, these imitations have been "operated" by the people, and will soon be able to appear in the European cultural relics market.

4. To identify cultural relics, use the exclusion method, as long as there is one wrong, you cannot do it;

5. The most important thing is to have your own “cultural relics collection circle”. One person cannot understand everything, and good things can be appreciated by several friends.

6. The age is not necessarily high in economic value. The cultural relics still depend on the level of craftsmanship. His store has a complete pottery jar in the Warring States period, but the market price is only tens of thousands of yuan.
